Shaanxi Vexnel Technology Co., Ltd. ("VEXNEL", "we", "us") operates the Veckit service ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Waitlist Signup: Your email address when you join the waitlist.
• Google Account Login: When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Contact Form: Your name, email, and message submitted through the Help Center contact form.
• Processing and Platform Connections: When you use these features, we process uploaded videos, transcripts, captions, clip records, and authorized platform connection credentials. Reading public guides does not require uploads or platform connections.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Session Cookies: Maintain your login session and contain signed account information and an expiry time. Signing is not encryption.
• Usage Data: Some account actions are recorded with your email for project progress, usage, and service management; these records are not all anonymous.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Veckit Service
• Send waitlist updates and service notifications
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests
• Improve features and user experience

3. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share information in the following cases:

• Service Providers: Cloudflare (hosting and infrastructure), Resend (email delivery), and Google (OAuth authentication and advertising services). These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their functions.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or court order.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is processed and stored across Cloudflare's global edge network via Cloudflare Workers. We implement reasonable security measures, though no internet transmission is 100% secure.

Source videos and captioned exports are stored in Cloudflare R2 and may also be sent to Cloudflare AI or Stream when those features are used. Some media-processing paths use publicly accessible URLs and should not be treated as private sharing; do not upload sensitive footage. Project deletion handles associated R2 media and project records, but Stream copies and previously downloaded or cached copies require separate handling.

5. Your Rights

• Access & Correction: You can view and update your information through account settings.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
• Opt-Out: You can terminate your session by signing out.

6. Cookies & Advertising

We use essential session cookies to maintain your login state. We may also show Google-served advertising on some pages. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites.

Where required by law, we use a Google-certified consent management platform to collect consent for advertising cookies. You can manage your choices in that consent message or opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.

7. Data Controller & Billing Entity

The data controller and billing entity for the Service is Shaanxi Vexnel Technology Co., Ltd. (陕西矩核科技有限公司; Unified Social Credit Code: 91610131MAKDNHNR4L; registered address: Room C47, Suanni Space, 2/F, Qianren Building, No. 9 Gaoxin 2nd Road, Xi'an High-tech Zone, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China). Paid subscriptions are billed by this entity. Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Airwallex, Lemon Squeezy); we receive only the information necessary to complete your subscription and do not store your full card number.
